ANNAMARIE (FARIAS) GRAVES

GRAVES, ANNAMARIE (FARIAS) 57, of Laconia Rd., Cranston, passed at home surrounded by her loving family on Sunday, January 14, 2018. She was the wife of James A. Graves for 31 years. Born in Warwick, she was a daughter of the late John J. and Anna M. (Simas) Farias.

At the tender age of seven, Ann was diagnosed with Diabetes. In spite of this chronic ailment, Ann led a very positive and fruitful life. She graduated from West Warwick High School, raised a daughter and cared for her family. Ann enjoyed dancing and listening to music as well.

She was the mother of Angie Marie Prata and her husband Jonathan of Johnston, Stepmother of Deanna Kae Horstman and her husband Michael of North Kingstown, and Whitney Leigh Rodriguez and her husband Manny of Phoenix, AZ. Anna was the grandmother of Skyla, Jonathan, Jayden Prata, and Jakob, Joran and Brayden Horstman. Ann was the sister of Geraldine A. Blanchette and her husband Victor of Coventry, and the late John J. Farias Jr.

Ann was the aunt of Jo-Ann Libby, Victor Blanchette III, Gregory Blanchette and John Blanchette, Jason Farias, Michael Farias and John Farias. She is also survived by 20 great- nieces and great-nephews.

Relatives and friends are invited to a Mass of Christian Burial on Friday, January 19, 2018 at 10:00 am in Our Lady of Good Counsel Church, 62 Pleasant St., West Warwick. Visiting hours and flowers are respectfully omitted, memorial donations to the Barton Center for Diabetes Education, Inc., P.O. Box 356, North Oxford, MA 01537-0356 or the American Diabetes Association ( www.diabetes.org ) would be appreciated.
