BARBARA ANN (FIOCCO) RUZZANO

RUZZANO, BARBARA ANN (FIOCCO) 81, of Fairway Drive, Coventry, passed at home surrounded by her loving family on Thursday, January 18, 2018. She was the wife of Edward D. Ruzzano for 58 years. Born in Providence, she was a daughter of the late Vincenzo and Laura (Gemma) Fiocco.
Barbara was a jewelry worker at the BB Greenberg Company before retiring. She enjoyed family gatherings. She also enjoyed watching the Boston Red Sox baseball games.
She was the mother of Michael E. Ruzzano and his wife Michele of Providence, Robert D. Ruzzano and his wife Debra of Hope, and Lori A. Ruzzano of Warwick. Barbara was the caring Grandma to Edward Medeiros, Kristen, Neil, Michaela and Jared Ruzzano; and the Nana of Brooklyn Pearson. She was the twin-sister of the late Robert Fiocco, and sister of the late Etta Sylvester, Anthony Fiocco, Vincent Fiocco, Evelyn Castriotta and Josephine Cafaro.
Her funeral will be Wednesday, January 24, 2018 at 9 am from the IANNOTTI Funeral Home, 415 Washington St. (Rte.117) Coventry, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 am in Saints John & Paul Church. Interment in the RI Veterans Memorial Cemetery. Visiting hours are Tuesday 4 - 7 pm. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105-9959 ( www.stjude.org ) will be appreciated.
