DORIS YVONNE (CARON) MALIKOWSKI

MALIKOWSKI, DORIS Y. (CARON), 92, of Hill Farm Rd., passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, November 16, 2017 at Rhode Island Hospital. She was reunited with her husband of 69 years, Stanley P. Malikowski who passed on November 8, 2017. Born in West Warwick, she was a daughter of the late Edward and Yvonne (Forcier) Caron.

Doris enjoyed caring for her family, cooking, tending to her flower gardens, and shopping.

She was the mother of Gary F. Malikowski (Ret. Chief WGPD) of West Greenwich. The grandmother of Danielle, Matthew, Daniel and the late Alicia Malikowski. Doris was the great-grandmother of Ashlyn, Gabrielle, Alexzander, Madalyne, and soon to be expected, Harrison. She was the sister of Rose Coit of Florida, Gertrude Anderson of Hope, Edward Caron of California, Paulette Turcotte and her husband Marcel of West Warwick, and the late Jeannette MacCoy. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews.

Her Mass of Christian Burial will be on Wednesday, November 22, 2017 at 10:00 am in Saints John & Paul Church, 341 South Main St., Coventry. Interment at the RI Veterans Memorial Cemetery. Visiting hours and flowers are respectfully omitted. Memorial donations to the American Heart Association, P.O. Box 417005, Boston, MA 02241-7005 will be appreciated.
