HAROLD G. SPRAGUE

SPRAGUE, Harold G., 89, of Acres of Pine Rd., passed away surrounded by his loving family on Monday, November 6, 2017 at the Coventry Skilled Nursing & Rehabilitation Center.  He was the beloved husband of 68 years to Leatrice T. (Lecuivre) Sprague.

Born in West Warwick, he was a son of the late Edward P. and Yvonne (Pellerin) Sprague.

Harold was a Stationary Engineer/ Building Superintendent for 42 years at Providence Washington Insurance before retiring and the Vice President of Ethide Laboratories in West Warwick.  He was also a Past Grand Knight of the Gibson Council Knights of Columbus in West Warwick.

Besides his wife, he leaves his children, Stephen Sprague and his wife Peggy of Vermont, Michael Sprague and his wife Christine of CT and Rebecca Sprague and her husband Anthony Zaharie of Exeter; two brothers, George Sprague of South Kingstown and Roland Sprague of Florida; four grandchildren, Danielle Paolino, Zachary Sprague, Nicholas Sprague and Kate Sprague and two great-grandchildren, Sarah Paolino and Tansy Sprague.

He was a brother of the late Charles and Edward Sprague.

His Funeral will be held Friday at 9:00 am from the IANNOTTI Funeral Home, 415 Washington St. (Rte.117), Coventry, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 am in St. Vincent de Paul Church, Coventry.  Interment will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery, West Warwick.  Visiting hours Thursday 4-7 pm.  In lieu of flowers, donations in Harold’s name to St. Vincent de Paul Church, 6 St. Vincent de Paul St., Coventry, RI 02816 would be appreciated.
