JEANNETTE L. (Pare) MOTTA

MOTTA, Jeannette L. “Auntie” (Pare), 86, of Sweetwater Dr., passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her loving family on Wednesday, January 10, 2018.  She was the beloved wife of 63 years to the late Lionel “Pickles” Motta.

Born in Coventry, she was a daughter of the late George and Alexandra (Marcouiller) Pare.

Jeannette worked for many years at Security Cleansers in West Warwick.  She found her true passion in life as “Auntie” providing daycare for many children in her home over the years.  She loved to travel, especially trips to Las Vegas, Disney World, Foxwoods and the beach and truly enjoyed cooking for everyone, but most of all, she loved spending time with her family and friends. 

She was the mother of Denise Motta, Lionel (Tracy) Motta, Robin (Andrew) Loffredo; grandmother of Greg (Ashley) Motta, Karissa, Katlyn, Andrew Loffredo III, Wayne and Laura Lotito; great-grandmother of Robbie Motta and Devon White.  She was the sister of Loretta Pimental, Peter Pare, Phillip Pare and Rita Dixon.  She was a sister of the late Lionel and Gerard Pare, Irene Lafond, Normand, Arthur, and Edward Pare.

Her funeral will be Monday at 9:00 am from the IANNOTTI Funeral Home, 415 Washington St. (Rte.117) Coventry, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 am in SS John & Paul Church, Coventry.  Inurnment in the RI Veterans Cemetery will be private.  Visiting hours Sunday from 3-7 pm.  In lieu of flowers, donations to the American Cancer Society (www.cancer.org) would be appreciated.
