JOAN F. (McGinn) KLINE

KLINE, Joan F. (McGinn), 83, formerly of Yates Ave., passed away peacefully on Tuesday, November 28, 2017 at the Scalabrini Villa in North Kingstown.  She was the beloved wife of the late Robert D. Kline.

Born in Providence, she was a daughter of the late Francis and Agnes (Lynch) McGinn.

Joan worked as a clerk for many years at Star Market and was the receptionist, longtime communicant and member of the choir at St. Michael the Archangel Church in Providence.  She was also a huge Red Sox fan.

A loving and devoted mother, grandmother and sister, she is survived by her loving children, Sue Batalon and husband Paul of Warwick, Kenneth Rowland and wife Ingrid of CT, David Rowland of FL, Ann Oliver and husband Vern of Warwick, Mark Rowland and former wife Mia of Providence, Scott Kline and wife Patricia of San Marcos, CA, and Christine Dooley and husband Steven of Cranston; a brother, Francis McGinn of FL; a sister, Mary Marino of Warwick; 13 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Her Funeral will be held Saturday at 7:45 am from the IANNOTTI Funeral Home, 415 Washington St. (Rte.117), Coventry, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 9:00 am in Holy Apostles Church, Cranston.  Interment will follow in St. Charles Cemetery, Blackstone, MA.  Visiting hours Friday 4-7 pm.  In lieu of flowers, donations in Joan’s name to St. Michael the Archangel Church, 239 Oxford St., Providence, RI 02905 would be appreciated.
