MULHEARN, Michael R.,72, most recently of Warwick, Rhode Island and formerly of North Port, Florida, passed away peacefully on Monday, July 31, 2017 after a long and courageous battle with cancer at the Philip Hulitar Hospice Center in Providence, RI.  Michael is survived by his beloved children, a son, Christopher M. Mulhearn, Esq. and his fiancé Kendra L. Hytinen, and a daughter, Bethany A. Milner, Ph.D. and her husband Jeremy A. Milner, as well as five grandchildren, Jacob M. Milner, Eva G. Milner, Anna R. Milner, Kennedy L. Mulhearn and Jagger A. Mulhearn. Michael also leaves behind his wife, Jeannette DeRosa, and a sister, Joan F. Gaudette and her husband Richard Gaudette. He was predeceased by his wife of 46 years, Judith A. (Bucci) Mulhearn and his sister, Janet A. (Mulhearn) Ferri.  Michael was the son of Richard and Margaret (Macera) Mulhearn.  He was employed as a senior executive for more than 30 years by Citizens Financial Group, formerly Citizens Bank, and thereafter successfully established and operated Mulhearn & Associates, Inc. for more than 10 years, identifying location sites and constructing bank branches throughout the Northeast and along the eastern seaboard. Upon retirement, while living in Florida, Michael was selected to join the Palm Beach County Sherriff's Office C.O.P. He served in the United States Army from 1964 to 1970, originally with the 455th General Hospital, was later attached to a Chemical, Biological and Radiological Warfare unit.  Although he had many interests during his lifetime, his one and only true passion was his family to whom he completely and total dedicated himself until his final day.  His Funeral service will be held Friday at 11:30 am in the IANNOTTI Funeral Home, 415 Washington St. (Rte.117), Coventry.  Inurnment with Military Honors will follow in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston.  Visiting hours Thursday 5-8 pm.  In lieu of flowers, the family would suggest a donation in Michael's memory to the Philip Hulitar Hospice Center, 1085 North Main Street, Providence, Rhode Island.
