MICHAEL ALEXANDER UMBRIANO

UMBRIANO, MICHAEL ALEXANDER, 59, of Vista Circle, passed surrounded by his loving family, on Wednesday, November 22, 2017 at the South Kingstown Nursing & Rehabilitation Center. He was the husband of Barbara D. (Cardillo) Umbriano for 14 years. Born in Providence, he was a son of Judith R. (Altman) Umbriano of Cranston and the late Michael A. Umbriano.

Michael was a Senior Environmental Scientist at the DEM for the State of RI for 21 years before retiring in 2014. He earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering from Roger Williams University in 1978. Michael loved to travel, especially cruising with his family and friends. He was a New England Patriots football fan.

He was the brother of Donna D’Alessio of Johnston, Steven Umbriano of Scituate, Paul Umbriano of Scottsdale, AZ, David Umbriano of Tempe, AZ and Laura Cherone of Malden, MA.  Michael is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are invited to a Mass of Christian Burial on Friday, December 1, 2017 at  10:00 am in St. Bernard Church, 275 Tower Hill Rd., North Kingstown. Inurnment will be private. Visiting hours and flowers are respectfully omitted. Arrangements by IANNOTTI Funeral Home, Coventry.
