BELANGER, NORMAN age 88, & EVELYN M. (CHAREST) age 79 at the time of her passing on August 14, 2012, are reunited once again, Norman passed on March 31, 2018 at the Marliere Hospice in New Port Richey, Florida.
Norman was employed for over 45 years as an auto body repair technician at the former Folgo Ford in West Warwick and Evelyn was a spooler at the former Weaving Corp of America in Crompton, before they both retired to New Port Richey, Florida after residing on Colonial Way in West Warwick for many years. Norman was a Sergeant in the US Army serving in the Korean War.
Evelyn and Norman enjoyed spending time with their family.
They were the parents of Dennis N. (Laura) Belanger of West Warwick, Sharon A. (Robert) Turner of Land O’ Lakes, Florida and Donna M. (Gary) Wennberg of Kittery Point, Maine. Norman and Evelyn had seven grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. Norman was the brother of Richard Belanger, Theresa DiFranco, both of Coventry, and the late Lucille Peltier. Norman also leaves behind his four legged friend Cody. Evelyn was the sister of Ernest Charest of North Kingstown. She was predeceased by two sisters and four brothers.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated for both Norman and Evelyn on Saturday, April 28, 2018 at 10 am in Our Lady of Czenstochowa Church, 445 Washington St., Coventry. Inurnment with military honors for Norman at the RI Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Exeter. Arrangements are with the IANNOTTI Funeral Home, Coventry. Please omit flowers.
