ROBERT M. VENTURA

VENTURA, ROBERT M., 55, of Sisson Rd, Coventry, passed away on Wednesday, April 11, 2018.  Born in Warwick, he was a son of the late Frank and Mary E. (Verdadeiro) Ventura.

Robert loved spending time with his family.  He was a devoted father and grandfather.  He was also an extremely hard worker.  He was employed by the Town of West Warwick Public Works for ten years and then worked in construction.  He took much pride in his stone work which he learned from his father. He enjoyed the outdoors and could often be found fishing or hunting.  He was a truly genuine, big hearted person who will be missed by all that knew him.

He is survived by his loving children, Robert M. Ventura, Jr. and his wife Alissa of Greene, Jessica L. Ventura and her fiancé Justin Matheu of West Warwick,  John J. Ventura and his girlfriend Mariana Picozzi of Greene; a brother, Frank L. Ventura and his wife Penny of West Warwick; a sister, Susan M. Nealon and her husband Michael of West Warwick and 1 grandson, Jacob Matheu.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his Mass of Christian Burial on Saturday, April 21, 2018 at 10:00 am in St. Anthony Church, West Warwick.  Visiting hours Friday from 4-7 pm in the IANNOTTI Funeral Home, 415 Washington St. (Rte.117), Coventry.
