SHEILA RUTH TRIGGS

TRIGGS, SHEILA R., 72, of Colvintown Rd., Coventry, a retired Registered Nurse, passed away at Kent Hospital, surrounded by her loving family on Saturday, December 9, 2017. Sheila was the former wife and best friend of Harold E. Richmond. Born in Providence, she was a daughter of the late Wayne Triggs and Ruth H. (Clark) Wolf. Sheila was the stepdaughter of the late Robert A. Wolf.

Sheila was employed as a Registered Nurse at several area nursing homes, most recently the Alpine Nursing Home in Coventry, before retiring. Sheila enjoyed the outdoors and she loved caring for her cats, ducks and wild turkeys.

Sheila was the sister of Darryl C. Triggs, Deborah A. Giroux, Doreen M. Fish, Leisa M. Jorgensen, all of Coventry, and Reverend Frank Triggs of California. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.

Visiting hours are Thursday, December 14, 2017 from 10:00 am to 11:30 am with a Service at 11:30 am in the IANNOTTI Funeral Home, 415 Washington St. (Rte.117) Coventry. Interment in Greenwood Cemetery, Coventry. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Rhode Island SPCA, 186 Amaral St., Riverside, RI 02915 ( www.rispca.com ) will be appreciated.
