WILFREDO SANTIAGO

SANTIAGO, Wilfredo, 40, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, February 10, 2018.  Born in Boston MA, he was the son of Claudine Cruz of Boston and the late Juan Santiago.

Too difficult of a request to choose one perfect moment to remember our beautiful brother, our mother’s son, Xavier and Nadiyah’s father, our children’s uncle and your friend.  One moment does not complete his journey. Wilfredo’s crazy laugh will now echo as the most beautiful sound we have ever listened to.  Wilfredo’s dancing was not the sharpest but we would clear the dance floor to give him tonight’s last dance.  We know it’s possible for you Wilfredo, our brother to put your arms around us for one last hug so we will hold on to all of your memories in our minds and hearts.  Let us carry your name and life so you can rest.  We love you and will forever miss you.

Besides his mother, he leaves two children, Xavier Kaleb Santiago of West Warwick and Nadiyah Santiago of Providence; four brothers, Nelson Santiago of West Warwick, Caleb, Neftali and Jonathan Santiago, all of Warwick; two sisters, Ruth Santiago of Boston, MA and Elizabeth Santiago-Franklin of Brockton, MA and many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held Friday evening from 4:00 – 6:00 pm in the IANNOTTI Funeral Home, 415 Washington St. (Rte.117), Coventry, with a Funeral Service to follow at 6:00 pm.  Burial will be private.
