James A. Gordon Sr. and Norma D. Gordon (Savoie)
James Arthur Gordon, 84, Retired Fireman, Warwick RI. Lived in South Daytona, FL. Formerly of Coventry, Rhode Island, passed away peacefully on Saturday December 24, 2022. He was born in Providence Rhode Island, son of the Late Robert Gordon and Florence Emmond. James served in the U.S. Army. He was a retired Fireman for the City of Warwick Rhode Island.
Norma D. Gordon (Savoie) 82, Lived in South Daytona, FL. Formerly of Coventry, Rhode Island, passed away peacefully on Monday December 18, 2023. She was born in Warwick, RI, daughter of the late Joseph and Mildred Savoie.
They were married for 62 years. Survived by three sons and a daughter – James A Gordon II of West Warwick, Paul R. Gordon of Daytona, FL, Jeffrey J. Gordon of Coventry Rhode Island and Connie R. Coutu of Viera Florida. Besides their children they leave 8 Grandchildren and 11 Great Grandchildren.
They will be truly missed by all that loved them.
Visiting hours will be held on Saturday morning, April 6, 2024 from 9 am to 10 am followed by a Memorial Service at 10 am in the Iannotti Funeral Home at MAPLE ROOT, 2000 Nooseneck Hill Road (Rte.3) in Coventry. Interment will be at Saint Joseph Cemetery in West Greenwich. iannottifh.com
