KENNETH H. MOORE

MOORE, KENNETH H. “Kenny”, 66, of McGlynn Street, West Warwick, passed away at home unexpectedly on Sunday, March 3, 2024. He was the husband of Susan J. (Elliott) Moore. Born in Warwick, he was a son of the late Willard S. and Harriet F. (Johnson) Moore.

Kenneth graduated from Coventry High School, class of 1975. He was a master tile installer for over 40 years. He worked for Architectural Woodworking Inc. in Coventry for 15 years.

Kenny was a member of Club Jogues in Coventry. He enjoyed many activities at the club, whether it be attending game dinners or playing horseshoes for years. In his younger days, he played in the Pawtuxet Valley Slow-Pitch softball league. Many of his close friends referred to him as “Sugar Bear.” Kenny enjoyed football as well.

He was the father of Kenneth K. Moore of Coventry and Kalyn L. Moore and her husband Justin of West Warwick. He was the proud grandfather of McKenzie Jennifer Moore and Jackson Michael Moore. Kenneth was the brother of Willard S. Moore Jr. of West Warwick, Garry M. Moore, Karen M. Mancinho, Susan H. Charpentier, Pamela J. Leduc, all of Coventry and the late Mary M. Fraser.

A Memorial Celebration of Kenneth’s life will be held on Friday, April 5, 2024 at 5:00 pm at the Club Jogues, 184 Boston St., Coventry, RI 02816. Arrangements are with the Iannotti Funeral Home at MAPLE ROOT in Coventry. iannottifh.com
