LOUISE A. MOUCHON

MOUCHON, LOUISE A., 99, of West Warwick, passed away on Monday, February 26, 2024. She was the beloved wife of 65 years to the late Florent “Flood” Mouchon, who passed away in August, 2012. 

Born in West Warwick, she was a daughter of the late George and Elena (Capobianco) Lancellotta. 

After graduating from West Warwick High School, Louise became a Licensed Beautician. She proudly owned and operated Louise's Beauty Parlor in the Arctic Village section of West Warwick for many years. She enjoyed traveling with her husband, cooking meals for her loved ones, knitting and solving crossword puzzles. She also loved spending the winter months enjoying the sunshine in Florida. Louise was  a longtime member of the Pawtuxet Valley Preservation and Historical Society and was a former member of West Warwick Housing Authority Board of Directors. 

Louise was the loving mother of Diane Marchessault of West Warwick; two beloved grandsons, Senior Chief David Marchessault USN (Ret) and his wife Jennifer of North Carolina and Douglas Marchessault and his wife Lori of West Warwick and four great-grandchildren, Marissa Lafontaine, Mason, Myles and Samantha Marchessault; three great-great-grandchildren. 

Louise’s Mass of Christian Burial will be Saturday, April 20, 2024 at 10:00 AM in Our Lady of Czenstochowa, 445 Washington Street, Coventry. Burial is respectfully private.
