MILDRED M. "MILLIE" (MOONE) JACQUES

JACQUES, MILDRED M. (MOONE) “MILLIE” 73, of Coventry passed away at home surrounded by her loving family on Tuesday, April 16, 2024. She was predeceased by her husband of 49 years, Richard D. Jacques in 2018.  Born in Providence, she was a daughter of the late Lloyd A. and Evelyn M. (Potter) Moone. 

After graduating from Coventry High School in 1968, Millie had many jobs she loved, including being “Miss Millie” at a few local daycare centers as well as working for 26 years as a Claims Representative at Metropolitan Life Insurance. Millie was a dedicated wife, mother and grandmother. Millie enjoyed cooking and entertaining for her friends and family. Throughout her recent illness, she remained upbeat and positive and most concerned for her loved ones, rather than herself.

She was the mother of Jacqueline M. Ricci and her husband Joseph of Bristol, Matthew R. Jacques and his wife Rosemarie of West Warwick, and Jason E. Jacques of Greene. She was the grandmother of Chelsea V. Jacques, Matthew R. Jacques Jr., Lea M. Ricci, Andrew R. Jacques and Joseph C. Ricci. Millie was the sister of Lloyd E. Moone (Linda) of Cranston and Linda A. Palazzo of Coventry. Millie also leaves her special companion Ray Boudreau.

Visiting hours will be Monday morning, April 22, 2024 from 9:30 am to 11:00 am with a Memorial Service at 11:00 am in the Iannotti Funeral Home at MAPLE ROOT, 2000 Nooseneck Hill Rd.,(95/exit 18/Rte.3) Coventry. Inurnment at the RI Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Exeter will be private.
