WILLIAM ONYSKO Obituary

ONYSKO, WILLIAM S. “BILL” 76, of West Warwick, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, April 6, 2024 at the Roger Williams Medical Center in Providence. He was the beloved husband of Joanne M. (Eugenio) Onysko for 54 years. Born in Providence, he was a son of the late Michael and Mary (Nadaroshna) Onysko.

After graduating from West Warwick High School in 1966, William went on to earn an Associate's Degree from Rhode Island Junior College. William was employed in the automotive service industry for over 30 years before retiring. He was a manager for Sears & Roebuck Automotive Centers both in Warwick, RI and Brockton, MA. William enjoyed traveling and embarking on cruises, golfing, but mostly spending time with his family, especially his granddaughter Michaela J. White.

He was the father of Catherine M. Onysko-White and her husband David of Providence and James R. Onysko and his wife Heather of West Warwick. He was the brother of Robert Onysko of West Warwick and San Antonio, Texas and the late Michael Onysko. William is also survived by three nephews.
