ANTHA J. KETTELLE

KETTELLE, Antha Jane, of Coventry, Rhode Island passed away peacefully on December 28, 2018.  She was the daughter of the late Howard L. Kettelle and Myrtle Whitman Kettelle. She was the sister of Florence Lamoureux, Aunt of Mark and Anne Lamoureux, all of Honolulu, Hawaii.  

She graduated from Coventry High School and received a BA and MA from the University of Rhode Island.  She was a 5^thgrade teacher of Social Studies in the Warwick School System for 40 years. She was a fine pianist and enjoyed playing for her church in her younger years.  She enjoyed many summers, as a child, at her family camp in Maine.  She traveled extensively with family and friends.  She enjoyed the theater, music, reading, and volunteering at the Kent Hospital Gift Shop.  She loved her cats!!!

Visitation will be held Friday morning, January 11, 2019 from 10:00 – 11:00 am in the IANNOTTI Funeral Home, 415 Washington St. (Rte.117), Coventry, with a Funeral Service at 11:00 am.  Interment will follow in Mapleroot Cemetery, Coventry.  In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory to the RISPCA, 186 Amaral Street, Riverside, RI 02915,  Beacon Hospice (4903), 1130 Ten Rod Rd., Suite A203-A206, North Kingstown, RI 02852 or a charity of your choice would be appreciated.
