ANTONIO JAMES ENOS JR.

ENOS JR., ANTONIO J. “TONY” 87, of Hill St., Coventry, passed peacefully at the Riverview Healthcare Community, surrounded by his loving family, on Thursday, April 26, 2018. He was the husband of Claire A. (Degraide) Enos for 60 years. Born in West Warwick, he was a son of the late Antonio J. and Serafina (Mello) Enos.

Antonio was a US Navy veteran of the Korean War. He was a lace weaver for many years at the former Artistic Lace Mill in Warwick. He previously worked as a fork lift operator at the former National Bottle Co.

Antonio was the father of Michael A. Enos and his wife Janet of Cranston, and the grandfather of Nicole M. Enos and Jaimee L. Enos. He was the brother of Raymond Enos of West Warwick, Florence Bradley and Albertina Cagle, both of Coventry, Odelia Doherty of Kentucky, and Shirley Champagne of Warwick.

His Funeral will be Tuesday, May 1, 2018 at 9:00 am from the IANNOTTI Funeral Home, 415 Washington St., (Rte. 117) Coventry, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 am in Our Lady of Good Counsel Church, 62 Pleasant St., West Warwick, RI 02893. Interment with military honors in the RI Veterans Memorial Cemetery.  Visiting hours Monday 4 - 7 pm. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the American Diabetes Association ( www.diabetes.org) or Our Lady of Good Counsel Church will be appreciated.
