BARBARA R. (BOTELLO) LAPINSKY

LAPINKSY, BARBARA R. (BOTELLO) 64, of Princeton Ave., Coventry, passed away at Brigham & Women’s Hospital on Saturday, May 5, 2018. She was the beloved wife of James “Jim” Lapinsky.

Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Anthony and Rose (Russo) Botello. 

Barbara worked as a clerk for the United States Postal Service for many years before retiring. She enjoyed traveling the world with her husband visiting exotic locations from Hawaii to Alaska and even attended Oktoberfest in Germany. She was a dedicated New England sports fan, and will always be remembered for wearing a warm smile and having a kind word to say. 

Besides her husband, she leaves her son Wade Carson and step daughter Jamie Lapinsky. She was the sister of the late Anthony Botello.

Visitation will be held Saturday afternoon, May 12, 2018 from 1:00 pm – 3:00 pm in the IANNOTTI Funeral Home, 415 Washington St., (Rte. 117) Coventry, with a funeral service to follow at 3:00 pm. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Barbara’s name to the Coventry Animal Shelter, 1075 Main St., Coventry, RI 02816 will be appreciated.
