BARBARA J. (BONNEAU) MARSOCCI

Barbara J. (Bonneau) Marsocci, 66, of Coventry passed away on May 31, 2019 at her home surrounded by her loving family, after a long graceful and courageous battle with cancer. 

She grew up in Coventry, RI where she attended Coventry High School, and later, the Community College of Rhode Island. Prior to retiring, Barbara was the Accounting Office Manager for over 20 years for University Surgical Associates. She enjoyed spending her time with family and friends, attending zydeco and swing dances, kayaking, hiking, bike riding, travelling, relaxing on the beach, and entertaining guests with her joy of cooking and conversation. Barbara was fun, loving, and witty, giving as good as she got. She will be missed by all who had the opportunity to know her.

Barbara was the daughter of the late Earl T. and M. Beulah (Shevlin) Bonneau. She was preceded in death by her brother, John Bonneau, and sister, Grace Bonneau.

Her memory will be cherished by her husband, S. Stephen Marsocci; two daughters, Amy Hickey and her husband Philip, and Keri Heimerl and her husband Bryan; step son, Stephen Marsocci, step daughter, Vanessa Marsocci; two grandsons, Tyler Hickey and Nathan Hickey, a granddaughter, AliSandra Marsocci; 11 brothers and sisters, Earl Bonneau and his wife Pam, Mary Sunderlin and her husband Keith, Joan Bates and her husband Jerry, Beverly Northup, Paul Bonneau and his wife Ivette, Peter Bonneau, Charley Bonneau, Larry Bonneau, James Bonneau and his wife Donna, Ed Bonneau and his wife Denise, and Allen Bonneau and his wife Blanca; and many nieces and nephews.  

Visiting hours will be Thursday, June 6, 2019, 4 PM to 7 PM, Friday, June 7, 2019, 10 AM to 11 AM with a Memorial Service at 11:00 AM in the IANNOTTI Funeral Home, 415 Washington St. (Rte. 117), Coventry.
