BARBARA E. (Soares) ZUKOWSKI

ZUKOWSKI, Barbara E. (Soares), 82, of Carolyn St., passed away at home on Friday, December 27, 2019.  She was the wife of the late Richard W. Zukowski.

Born in West Warwick, she was a daughter of the late Joseph and Hilda (Barro) Soares.

Barbara loved the home that her and her husband built together and treasured most spending time with her family and her grandchildren meant the world to her.  She loved cooking and baking and the trips they took to the Pennsylvania Dutch Country.

She is survived by her children, Rodney W. Zukowski and his wife Barbara of Woburn, MA, Kerry A. Fox and her husband Larry of Coventry, Robin A. Zukowski and her husband Richard Keener of Pascoag and Donna L. Bettencourt of Coventry; a brother, Raymond Soares of West Warwick; a sister, Charlotte Correia of West Warwick; 9 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.  She was the sister of the late Joseph and Arthur Soares and Lorraine Andre and grandmother of the late Matthew and Ryan Coski.

Her Funeral will be held Tuesday, December 31, 2019 at 9:30 am from the IANNOTTI Funeral Home, 415 Washington St. (Rte.117) Coventry, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 am in SS. John & Paul Church, Coventry.  Interment will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery, West Greenwich.  Visiting hours Monday 4-7 pm.
