ROWE, BARRY L. Sr., 71, of Burnham, Maine, died peacefully with family and friends by his side on Sunday, February 3, 2019 in Auburn, Maine.
A son of the late Samuel and Hazel (Milton) Rowe, Barry was born on December 5, 1947 in Newburyport, MA. He graduated from Pilgrim High School with the class of 1967. He married Alice L. Dunham and together they raised their family.
Barry was a retired Cranston Firefighter who in his free time enjoyed wood working, Western movies, and home improvement projects.
He was predeceased by his wife of 45 years, Alice L. Rowe (Dunham). He is survived by his two sons, Barry Rowe and wife Samantha of Rhode Island and Alfred B. Rowe Sr. of Burnham, ME; grandchildren, Daniel Rowe, A.J. Rowe Jr., Joshua O'Donnell and companion Abrianna Clark, Shelby Edwards; great grandchildren, Jaxon O’Donnell, and Leo Shamilyan. Barry was the brother of Paul LaLiberty of Kezar Falls, ME, and the late David Rowe and his wife Sue of North Carolina. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
A Memorial Visitation will be held Tuesday, February 19, 2019 from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm in the IANNOTTI Funeral Home, 415 Washington St., (Rte.117), Coventry. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Barry’s honor to the RISPCA (rispca.com) would be appreciated.
