BRIAN H. MANNING

MANNING, BRIAN H., 76, of Coventry, passed away at Kent Hospital surrounded by his loving family on September 26, 2019. He was predeceased by his beloved wife of 22 years, Dianne E. Manning. Born in Providence, he was a son of the late Harold Alson and Esther (Bourne) Manning.

Brian worked as a security guard for Victor Electric. He was an active member of the Coventry Historical Society and was a board member of the Pawtuxet River Authority and Watershed Council. Brian received a citation from the state of Rhode Island for his work in the preservation and upkeep of our state’s many historical cemeteries. Brian was also an avid reader and Railroad Enthusiast. 

Brian is survived by his sisters; Louise Triggs (Darryl), of Coventry, Gail Manning-Budick of Palm Beach, FL, and Cynthia Manning of Ramona, CA. 

His Funeral Service will be Saturday, October 12, 2019 at 10:00 AM from Shepherd of the Valley United Methodist Church, 604 Seven Mile Rd, Hope, RI. Inurnment at Swan Point Cemetery, Providence. In lieu of flowers, donations made in Brian’s honor to The Spina Bifida Association (spinabifidaassociation.org) would be appreciated.
