CAROLYN MARIE (MULHOLLAND) BERGERON

BERGERON, CAROLYN M.(MULHOLLAND) 82, of Coventry, died on Tuesday, May 22, 2018 at the Philip Hulitar Hospice Center. She was the wife of Joseph A. Bergeron Jr. for 61 years. Born in Providence, RI on September 8, 1935, she was a daughter of the late Samuel P. and Caroline (Kinsella) Mulholland.

Besides her husband, she leaves 6 sons; Joseph S. and his wife Debra of North Carolina, Robert R. and his wife Suzette of Maine; Richard E. and his wife Beatriz of Cumberland, RI; Donald P. and his wife Michelle of Warwick, RI; David P. and his partner Mary Ann Herskowitz of North Carolina and Christopher M. of Providence, RI and her daughter Cynthia M. (Bergeron) Smith and her husband John of Warwick, RI.; 13 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren. Carolyn was the sister of the late Samuel, Richard, Robert and Joseph Mulholland.

Carolyn graduated from St. Xavier’s Academy, Providence, RI (class of 1953). She had been employed in the payroll department at Coro’s Manufacturing, Providence, RI and she also worked in financial institutions in the Washington, DC area before becoming a mother and homemaker. Carolyn was a communicant of St. Vincent de Paul’s parish in Coventry, RI, served on the Altar Guild for over 30 years, and also served on many committees as well. She was a member of the Mother Marie Revier Society. Carolyn enjoyed travelling around the Country with her husband in their motorhome.

Her Funeral will be Saturday, May 26, 2018 at 8:00 am from the IANNOTTI Funeral Home, 415 Washington St., (Rte. 117) Coventry, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 9:00 am in St. Vincent de Paul Church, 6 St. Vincent de Paul St., Coventry, RI 02816. Interment in St. Joseph Cemetery, West Greenwich.  Visiting hours Friday 4 - 7 pm. Donations in memory of Carolyn may be made to St. Vincent de Paul Parish, Coventry, RI.
