WOODARD, CHARLOTTE A. (WEBB) 84, of Fish Hill Rd., Coventry, passed peacefully surrounded by her loving family at the Philip Hulitar Hospice, on Wednesday, May 1, 2019. She was the wife of Richard E. Woodard for 45 years. Born in Nellis, West Virginia, she was a daughter of the late Leonard E. and Edith R. (Connor) Webb.
Charlotte and her husband Richard were the proprietors of Professional Tree Care. She was a skilled crane operator with the Company for many years. Charlotte enjoyed gardening and flowers, reading, crocheting, watching Soap Operas and reruns of MASH on TV. But mostly, she enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.
She was the mother of Bennett C. Cantley and his wife Rosemary of Westerly, Edith M. Cresse and her husband Larry of Coventry, David A. Cantley of Westerly, and Susan M. Cinquegrana and her husband Michael of Coventry. Charlotte was the grandmother of Alison Chapman, Taylor Cresse, Heather Antunes, Madison Whitaker, Ryann Whitaker, and Nicholas Cinquegrana. She was the great-grandmother of Logan, Savannah, Marissa and Connor and the great-great-grandmother of Hazel. Charlotte was predeceased by 11 brothers and sisters. She is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
Visiting hours will be Tuesday morning, May 7, 2019 from 9:00 am to 11:00 am, with a Memorial Service at 11:00 am in the IANNOTTI Funeral Home, 415 Washington St., (Rte.117) Coventry. Inurnment at Rhode Island Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Exeter.
