DANIEL SOLLACCIO

SOLLACCIO, Daniel R., 42, of Coventry, RI, passed away unexpectedly on October 16, 2018.  Born in Providence, RI, he was the husband of Susana M. Sollaccio, father of Tristin J. Carlton, son of Debra J. (Sollaccio) Fontes and grandson of Lawrence Sollaccio. 

Husband, Father, Soldier and Friend. No matter how you knew Dan, he would always bring a smile to your face. Dan was a hardworking and humble man who loved to help others and dedicated his life to his country and family. Always dancing and clowning around, you could always count on Dan to liven up your day. Dan was a lifetime soldier in the Army and owned his own plumbing business. He loved riding his Harley with his friends, Rock n Roll and partying everyday to the band KISS, running for hours with his beloved dog Daisy, and most of all, he loved his family and friends. 

Dan enlisted into the Army directly after graduating from William E. Tolman High School and served his entire adult life. 

While in the Army Reserves, he worked for Gem Plumbing and earned his Master Plumbing license. After returning from his most recent tour overseas, he started his own business, At Ease Plumbing. 

Dan will be missed by everyone who had the pleasure of knowing him, including his close relatives and extended family of uncles, aunts, cousins, nieces and nephews. His amazing personality touched many lives and his contribution to those around him will be treasured forever

His funeral service will be held Thursday, October 25, 2018 at 10:00 am in the IANNOTTI Funeral Home, 415 Washington St. (Rte.117) Coventry.  Inurnment with military honors will follow at the Rhode Island Veteran’s Cemetery, Exeter. Visiting hours are Wednesday 5-8 pm. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Daniel’s name to The National Coalition for Homeless Veterans (WWW.NCHV.ORG) would be appreciated.
