DAVID MICHAEL HEANUE

HEANUE, DAVID MICHAEL,"KOJAK” “PERKY” 60, of Plain Meeting House Rd., West Greenwich, passed unexpectedly at home on Thursday, December 28, 2017. Born in Fort Dix, New Jersey, he was a son of the late James E. and Louella V. (Sherman) Heanue.

David was a Laborer with Local 271 before retiring. David served during peacetime in the Air National Guard and he was a Coventry High School graduate. He loved cooking and entertaining for his family and friends. He enjoyed caring for his cats, especially Tiger.

He was the brother of Patricia A. Shaw of Foster, James C. Spencer and his wife Janet of Greensboro, NC, Linda S. Heanue of West Warwick, twin brother Barry T. Heanue and his wife Lauri of West Greenwich, Geoffrey R. Heanue and his wife Lynn of Prosperity, SC, Ilene E. Heanue and Mary E. Heanue, both of West Warwick. David is also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends.

Visiting hours are Wednesday evening, January 3, 2018 from 5:00 to 7:00 pm in the IANNOTTI Funeral Home, 415 Washington St. (Rte.117) Coventry.  A Memorial Service will be Tuesday, January 9, 2018 at 5pm at Line Baptist Church 175 S. Killingly Rd. In Foster RI.   In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to assist with final expenses will be appreciated.
