DENNIS DALE AMARAL

AMARAL, DENNIS D., 61, of West Warwick, passed at home surrounded by his loving family on Friday, August 10, 2018. He was the husband of Carol A. (Mann) Amaral. The couple would have celebrated their 28^th wedding anniversary on December 29, 2018. Born in Warwick, he was a son of the late Joseph Amaral Sr. and the late Joan (Carrington) Stuart.

Dennis was a tractor trailer truck driver for the New Penn Motor Express Company in Cranston. Dennis was a member of the Teamsters Local 251 for 32 years. Dennis was a skilled mechanic. He enjoyed many family vacations to Disney World in Orlando, Florida. He also enjoyed gardening.

He was the caring father of Cheri L. Medeiros and her husband Ryan of Coventry, Steven D. Amaral, Dylan R. Amaral, Derek J. Amaral and his wife Lisandra, all of West Warwick, and the late Dennis D. Amaral Jr.  Dennis was the proud grandfather of Caleb Medeiros, Cole Medeiros, Chase Medeiros, Julianna Amaral,  Derek Amaral Jr., Logan Amaral and Stella Amaral. Dennis was the brother of Robert Amaral of West Greenwich, David Amaral of West Warwick and the late Joseph Amaral.

His Funeral Service will be Monday, August 13, 2018 at 10:00 am in the IANNOTTI Funeral Home, 415 Washington St., (Rte. 117) Coventry. Interment in Quidnessett Memorial Cemetery, North Kingstown.  Visiting hours are Sunday 4 - 8 pm. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to The Association for Frontotemporal Degeneration ( www.theaftd.org) would be appreciated.
