DONALD FRANCIS CORREIA SR.

CORREIA SR., DONALD F., 65, of Water St., West Warwick, passed away at the Philip Hulitar Hospice Center, surrounded by his loving family on Wednesday, December 6, 2017. Born in Providence, he was the proud son of the late Dennis D. Correia.

Donald was chef and owner of the former Cozy Kitchen in North Kingstown for many years before retiring. He was a skilled carpenter and woodworker. Donald was a member and a past president of the former RI Chapter of the Chieftains Motorcycle Club. After his retirement, Donald enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren, especially going to the movies.

He was the father of Donald F. Correia Jr. and his companion Anna R. Calvino of Cranston, Dennis R. Correia Sr. and his wife Tara L. Correia of Dighton, MA, Deanna E. Correia and her companion Kreg LeBelle of Coventry, and Kelly Sullivan and her husband Greg of Richmond.

He was the grandfather of Rose S. Correia, Gabriel F. Correia, Dennis R. Correia Jr., Josef Pezza and Tatiana Pezza. Donald was also expecting a new granddaughter, and was the brother of Debbie Correia of West Warwick.

Visiting hours will be Saturday, December 16, 2017 from 12 Noon to 2:00 pm, with a Memorial Service at 2:00 pm in the IANNOTTI Funeral Home, 415 Washington St. (Rte.117) Coventry. Interment in Woodland Cemetery, Coventry.
