DONNA HAMEL Obituary
HAMEL, DONNA, 63, of Woodland Drive, Coventry, passed on Sunday, September 9, 2018 at the Philip Hulitar Hospice Center in Providence. Born in Burlingame, California, she was a daughter of the late A. Raymond and Dorothy H. (Couture) Hamel, and a stepdaughter of the late Barbara R. Hamel.
Donna earned a Bachelor’s Degree and went on to a career as a mechanical engineer at the Fram Corporation in East Providence before retiring.
She enjoyed her pets, cooking, playing golf, and computers.
She was the sister of Linda J. Hamel, Kevin P. Hamel, Dawn M. Hamel and her husband Jerry, all of Coventry, and the late Wayne R. Hamel. Donna is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
At Donna’s request, her funeral and interment at Woodlawn Cemetery in Attleboro, Massachusetts will be private. Arrangements are with the IANNOTTI Funeral Home, 415 Washington St. (Rte.117) Coventry. iannottifh.com
