DORIS F. (Desrocher) VENTURA

VENTURA, Doris F. (Desrocher), 94, formerly of the Monsignor De Angelis Manor, passed away on Monday, September 17, 2018 at Riverview Healthcare Center.  She was the wife of the late Antonio Ventura.

A lifelong resident of West Warwick, she was a daughter of the late David and Epiphany (Ducharme) Desrocher.  

During her working career, Doris worked as a sewer at Orsmond Clothing, in textile at the Anthony Mills and was housekeeper at Cramar Nursing Home and at the Coventry Health Center for 13 years before retiring.

She is survived by her loving children, Wayne Ventura of Cranston, Carol Bankes of Lake Mary, FL and Diane Robinson of Bradenton, FL; 7 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.  She was the mother of the late Russell J. Ventura and was predeceased by 4 brothers and 6 sisters.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her Mass of Christian Burial on Saturday, September 22, 2018 at 11:00 am in St. Joseph Church, West Warwick.  Interment will follow in SS. Peter & Paul Cemetery, Coventry.  Visiting hours and flowers respectfully omitted.  In lieu of flowers, donations to the American Cancer Society (cancer.org) would be appreciated.
