EDWARD F. FRANCIS JR.

FRANCIS JR., EDWARD F., 67, of Reservoir Rd., Coventry, passed away at home on Monday, July 16, 2018 with his loving wife of 27 years Toni R. (Talley) Francis by his side. Born in Providence, he was a son of the late Edward F. and Cecelia (Souza) Francis. He was the father of the late Edward F. Francis III and Jeremy Francis. He was the brother of Greg Almeida and his wife Ro of Isleton, CA.

Ed was employed for many years as a lead technician with American Power Conversion in West Kingston. He attended Coventry High School.

Ed founded the “Out To Lunch Bunch” Van Club in 1978. To this day, the van club is a very strong family orientated group. Ed enjoyed sitting on his front stoop with his dog Sam and meeting people passing by.

Visiting hours will be Sunday evening, July 22, 2018 from 4:30 pm to 7:00 pm with a Memorial Service at 7:00 pm in the IANNOTTI Funeral Home, 415 Washington St., (Rte. 117) Coventry. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the American Cancer Society ( www.cancer.org) would be appreciated.
