ELEANOR A. (DE GRASSE) NADROWSKI

NADROWSKI, Eleanor A. (DeGrasse), 85, formerly of Helen Ave., passed away on Monday, November 6, 2017 at Woodpecker Hill Nursing Home in Coventry.  She was the wife of the late Edmund John “Whitey” Nadrowski III.

Born in Providence, she was a daughter of the late John E. and Alice E. (Rayner) DeGrasse.

Eleanor worked as an attendant for 20 years at the Eleanor Slater Hospital in Cranston before retiring in 1994.

She is survived by her loving children, Patricia Jarvis of Greene, Edmund Nadrowski of Foster, Kathleen Chauvin of Burrillville, Eleanor Charpentier of Mount Holly, NC and Cynthia St. Jean of Richmond; three sisters, Lora Miller of Cranston, Betty Coronel of Lakeside, CA and Mildred Dimsey of Lemon Grove, CA; a brother, Robert DeGrasse; 8 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great-grandchildren.  She was a sister of the late John DeGrasse. 

Visitation will be held Thursday morning from 8:00 – 9:15 am in the IANNOTTI Funeral Home, 415 Washington St. (Rte.117), Coventry, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 am in SS. John & Paul Church, Coventry.  Interment will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery, West Greenwich.
