GEORGE FRANK DEL FARNO

DEL FARNO, GEORGE F., 73, of Newell St., West Warwick, passed away at Kent Hospital on Sunday, June 3, 2018. He was the husband of Evelyn E. (Grafton) Del Farno for 19 years. Born in Providence, he was a son of the late George F. and Filomena “Fannie” (Corrado) Del Farno.

George was employed in the trucking business all of his life. He owned and operated many trucking companies throughout Rhode Island. George enjoyed spending time with his family, card playing and chess games.

He was the father of George W. Del Farno and his wife Erin of Delaware, Susan M. Del Farno  of Coventry and AJ Pulvie Jr. and his wife Pamela also of Coventry. George was the grandfather of Jennifer, Sydney, Gianna, Sophia, George Del Farno, Haley and Ashley Pittman, Danielle and Aidan Pulvie. George was the brother of Alan Del Farno of Cumberland and Donna Petrarca of Nevada.

Visiting hours will be Friday, June 8, 2018 from 10:00 am to 11:30 am in the IANNOTTI Funeral Home, 415 Washington St., (Rte. 117) Coventry, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 12:00 pm in Sacred Heart Church, West Warwick. Interment in Highland Memorial Park, Johnston. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the American Cancer Society ( www.cancer.org) would be appreciated.
