HELEN M. (Jacques) MASTERSON

MASTERSON, HELEN M. (Jacques), 94, passed away peacefully on Saturday, June 2, 2018 at Riverview Health Center in Coventry. She and her late husband, Hubert, were married for fifty years and had four children: Richard Masterson (Patricia) of Coventry; Eileen Laconi (David) of Falmouth, Maine; Jean Boucher (Brian) of Johnston; and Kathleen Masterson of West Warwick.  In Addition, she leaves eleven grandchildren, fifteen great-grandchildren, and dozens of in-laws, nieces, and nephews. 

A 1945 Rhode Island Hospital Grad, Helen was a registered nurse at Kent County Hospital and a school nurse in Coventry until her 1971 retirement. Her nine and a half decades were filled with family, school, work, and hobbies. She especially enjoyed being with her grandchildren, volunteering, playing the piano, reading, working on puzzles, gardening, sewing, crocheting, bowling, and creating ceramics. 

Her Funeral will be held Friday, June 8, 2018 at 9:00 am from the IANNOTTI Funeral Home, 415 Washington St., (Rte. 117) Coventry, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 am in SS. John & Paul Church, Coventry.  Interment will follow in the RI Veterans Cemetery, Exeter. Visiting hours Thursday 4 - 7 pm.  In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to Hope Hospice & Palliative Care of RI, 1085 North Main St., Providence, RI 02904 would be appreciated.
