CARNEVALE JR, JAMES S., 33, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday July 14, 2018. Born in Providence, he was a son of Susan Gail and her husband Lloyd of Coventry and James Carnevale and his wife Jean of Florida.
James was a 2003 graduate of William M. Davies Jr. Career and Technical School and served in the US Navy. He enjoyed NASCAR, attending the Daytona 500, and was especially a fan of Rusty Wallace. James, or “Jimmy” as he was known to his friends, always had a smile on his face and a joke on his lips. His charismatic and funny personality was magnetic and his zest for life energized the people around him. James will be remembered for his giving spirit and his loving admiration for his mother.
James was the brother of Alison Gandulla of Anchorage, AK, Ron Carnevale of Florida, Scott Gail of Gales Ferry, CT, Jason Gail of Pawtucket, Jordan Gail of Coventry, Christine Brederson of Pawtucket, Jason Archanbault of Hyannis, MA, Jodi Gail, and Angel Gail of Coventry. He was the uncle of Micah and a dear nephew of Brian Emond and is also survived by many other uncles, aunts, and cousins.
Visiting hours will be Sunday, July 22, from 2:00 - 4:00 pm with a memorial service to follow at 4:00 in the IANNOTTI Funeral Home, 415 Washington St., (Rte. 117) Coventry. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in James’ memory to The National Alliance on Mental Illness (www.NAMI.org) or to The Wounded Warrior Project (woundedwarriorproject.org) will be appreciated.
