JARED LEO CARPENTER

CARPENTER, JARED L., 14, of Hope Furnace, Rd., Scituate, passed unexpectedly on Saturday, July 14, 2018. Born in Providence on September 24, 2003 he was the beloved son of Jacob and Crystal L. (Desrosiers) Carpenter of Hope. Jared leaves his best friend and twin brother Marcus R. Carpenter. He was the cherished grandson of Dwain L. Desrosiers Sr. and Sharon J. (Deighan) Desrosiers of Coventry, Lori Ann Carpenter of West Warwick, Charles R. Trinkwald and his wife Lisa of West Warwick, and the late Sandra Breault. He was the great-grandson of Muriel F. Stanley of Florida. Jared is also survived by his loving aunts, uncles and cousins.

Jared was enrolled as a Freshman at Ponaganset High School, where he was a Cornerback on the Varsity Football team. He was accomplished in sports. He played on the RI Knights AU basketball team, Warwick PAL Patriots Football team for five years, he was in the Northern Rhode Island Lacrosse League. For many years, Jarred, Marcus, and their dad Jacob, trained at Next Level Fitness in Johnston.  He had a passion for riding his ATV. 

His Funeral will be Thursday, July 19, 2018 at 9:00 am from the IANNOTTI Funeral Home, 415 Washington St., (Rte. 117) Coventry, with a Requiem Eucharist at 10:00 am in Saint Francis Episcopal Church, 132 Peckham Lane, Coventry. Interment in Notre Dame Cemetery, West Warwick.  Visiting hours are Wednesday 4 - 8 pm. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to Ponaganset High School Football Athletic Fund, 137 Anan Wade Rd., North Scituate, RI 02857 would be appreciated.
