JEANNETTE A. (Browning) HARTLEY

HARTLEY, Jeannette A. (Browning), 80, of 1^stSt., Coventry, passed away on Wednesday, June 5, 2019 at Kent Hospital.  She was the wife of the late Robert F. Hartley.

Born in Smithfield, she was a daughter of the late McKinley and Irene (LaChapelle) Browning.

Jeannette was the longest living member of the Christian Hill Community Church and was referred to as the “Prayer Warrior”.  She enjoyed gardening and her bird feeders, but most all, church and family were everything to her.

She is survived by two sons, Charles R. Hartley and Thomas F. Hartley, both of Coventry; a sister, Patricia Browning of Smithfield; two grandchildren, Sarah and Matthew Hartley and three great-grandchildren, Austin, Franklin and Tess Renny.  She was the sister of the late Robert and Charles Browning and Irene Andrews.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her visitation on Sunday, June 9, 2019 from 2:00 – 4:00 pm in the Christian Hill Community Church, 56 Tiogue Ave. West Warwick, RI 02893 with a Funeral Service to follow at 4:00 pm.  Burial in the Rhode Island Veterans Cemetery will be private for the family.  In lieu of flowers, donations to the Christian Hill Community Church would be appreciated.
