JOSEPH OLIVERA SR. Obituary

OLIVERA SR., JOSEPH E., 61, of Smithfield, passed away at the Hebert Health Center, surrounded by his loving family, on Veterans Day, Monday, November 11, 2019. Born in Providence, he was a son of the late Frank and Florence (Palmer) Olivera.

Joseph served his Country proudly. He was a United States Army veteran during the Vietnam War. Joseph enjoyed fishing.

He was the father of Jean M. Couto and her husband Matthew, and Joseph E. Olivera Jr., all of Lehigh Acres, Florida. Joseph was the proud grandfather of Jamielynn, Samantha, Christian, Jonathon and Destiney. He was the brother of Frank Olivera, Robert Olivera, Susan Viera, Virginia Cornell, Cheryl Audet, and the late Steven Olivera.

Per Joseph’s request, funeral services will be private. Arrangements are with the IANNOTTI Funeral Home, Coventry. iannottifh.com
