JOSHUA JESSE HICKS

HICKS, JOSHUA JESSE, 28, of Foster, passed unexpectedly on Thursday, August 9, 2018. He was the beloved son of Danielle A. Heon and her companion Matthew Leander of Coventry and the beloved son of Jesse L. Hicks and his companion Rebecca Lynde of Foster. Joshua was the brother of Chris Heon and Kyle Dalton and the stepbrother of Paige Setterlund and Zachary Lynde.  Joshua was the cherished grandson of Audrey L. Heon of Smithfield and Sally A. Hicks of Foster and the late William B. Heon and Earl W. Hicks. He was the nephew of Kim Bains, Barbara Hicks, Jaime Hicks, Suzy Buchanan, Charlene Gianfranco, Michelle Rhodes, William A. Heon, Allison Burbin, Chris Heon, Jennifer Leander, Nicolle Heon, and the late Tammy Nelson. Joshua is also survived his girlfriend Melysa Faria and many cousins.

Joshua attended Scituate High School and went on to graduate at the top of his class from the Ocean Tides School in 2008. He earned several scholarships and grants to attend the Rhode Island College for his talented and creative writing skills in poetry and in a published book.

Visiting hours are Saturday, August 18, 2018 from 12:00 pm to 3:00 pm in the IANNOTTI Funeral Home, 415 Washington St., (Rte. 117) Coventry. In lieu of flowers,  donations to the Treatment Advocacy Center  ( www.treatmentadvocacycenter.org ) in Memory of Joshua J. Hicks would be appreciated.
