KEVIN MANUEL SIMAS

SIMAS, KEVIN MANUEL, 31, of West Warwick, RI, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, July 30, 2019. Kevin was the beloved son of the late Barbara A. (Fontes) Santos, Michael S. Simas, and his stepfather, Manuel E. Santos. Kevin is survived by his siblings, Matthew Simas, Rheannon Simas, and Sadie Malm. His sister-in-law, Renee Simas, and his nephew and niece, Landen and Aubrie Simas. He also leaves behind his great grandmother, grandmother, and several aunts, uncles, and cousins. Kevin will join his mother, great grandfather, and grandparents in heaven.

Kevin was born on April 25, 1988, and attended West Warwick High School. Kevin touched the lives of many and was always the one to put a smile on your face. He loved to joke around and wouldn’t think twice about doing something ridiculous to make others laugh. He would always put others before himself; even if he felt down, he always tried to bring others up. His smile was contagious and his loyalty to his friends and family was beyond compare.  

Kevin was a kind young man with a huge heart. Kevin will be greatly missed by everyone who knew him.

The visiting hours will be held on Monday, August 5th from 5-7pm at Iannotti Funeral Home, 415 Washington St. (Rte.117), Coventry, RI.  Relative and friends are invited to attend his Mass and burial at 10am on Tuesday, August 6th, at St John & James Parish, 20 Washington Street, West Warwick, RI 02893. The burial will follow, at St Mary’s Cemetery, 70 Church Street, West Warwick, RI 02893.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Kevin’s family to help assist with the burial costs.   Iannottifh.com
