BEAUDRY, LARRY N., 72, of Beach St., Coventry, passed away on Thursday, January 24, 2019 at UMass Memorial Medical Center with his loving sister, Kim M. Keenan, by his side. He was the companion of Annie Gillooly for 20 years.
Born in Walhalla, SC, he was a son of the late Alfred W. Beaudry and Mary Ruth (Nichols) Beaudry.
Larry was both a Master Automobile and Certified Diesel Mechanic working at various dealerships throughout Rhode Island.
During the Vietnam War, Larry served his country with great service and honor in the US Army as a Tank Commander in the 11thArmored Black Horse Cavalry Regiment.
Larry took great enjoyment collecting and restoring classic cars. Larry was an avid golfer. Larry was a friend of Bill W. for over 43 years. He also enjoyed spending time with his beloved dog, “Cool Hand Luke”.
He was the brother of Kim M. Keenan and her special guy, Bill Gravina of Coventry. Larry was the beloved uncle of Ray B. Demers of Hope, RI, and Ryan N. O’Mara of Coventry, RI. He was the great uncle of Hope Demers, Tori Demers, and Gavin Demers. Larry was known for his great sense of humor and he will be missed by all.
A Funeral Service will be Thursday, January 31, 2019 at 10:00 am from the IANNOTTI Funeral Home, 415 Washington St., (Rte.117) Coventry. Interment with Military Honors will follow in the RI Veterans Cemetery, Exeter. Visiting hours are Wednesday, 4 pm - 7 pm.
