LILLIAN (TYNAN) JOHNSON

JOHNSON, LILLIAN, 78, of Coventry, passed away Thursday, January 3, 2019 at the Coventry Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.  She was predeceased by her husband, the Late Norman Joseph Johnson and her stepson Richard “Ricky” Johnson.  She was the daughter of the late Francis X. and Phyllis (Vena) Tynan.  

Lillian is survived by her children Thomas Lydon and his wife Vicki of California, MD, Linda Bucci of North Providence, Deborah Mitrano of North Andover, MA and Gary Lydon and his wife Michelle of West Warwick.  A sister Marie Tynan and her wife Phyllis Barone of Saugus, MA.  Her Stepchildren Robert Johnson and James Johnson all of West Warwick and John Johnson and his wife Kim and Deborah Johnson all of Warwick, and Kathleen Gallo and her husband Vito of Corona, CA.  She is also survived by her grandchildren Elizabeth Tippett, Tyler Lydon, Vincent Michael Mitrano, Lindsey Bucci, Amanda Bucci, Marysa Mitrano, Kathryn Lydon, Anthony Mitrano, Ryan Reid, Matthew Reid, Christopher Gallo, Bridget Gallo, Sherry Reid, Matthew Gallo, and Michael Johnson as well as her great-grandchildren Kennedy Lydon, Jamison Tippett and Hunter Reid.

 Lillian was employed as a secretary for the Coventry Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation Center for 25 years.

 Her funeral will be Tuesday, January 8 at 9:00 AM from the Iannotti Funeral Home, 415 Washington St. (Rte. 117), Coventry, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 AM in SS John and Paul Church.  Interment will be at the RI Veterans Cemetery.  Visiting hours Monday, January 7, from 4-8 PM in the funeral home.  In lieu of flowers, donations to the Coventry Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation Center (Resident Council Fund) or the American Lung Association (www.lung.org) would be appreciated.
