LINDA EVELYN (VOORHIS) ANDREWS

ANDREWS, LINDA E. (VOORHIS) 68, of Hopkins Hill Rd., Coventry, passed peacefully at home surrounded by her loving family on Monday, October 8, 2018. She was predeceased by her husband Donald E. Andrews Sr. in 2016. Born in West Warwick, she was a daughter of the late Tony and Barbara (Cloutier) Voorhis.

Linda was employed as a manager at the former Victor Electric in Coventry for over 15 years before retiring. She enjoyed spending time with her friends at the Foxwoods Casino in nearby Connecticut.

Linda also enjoyed watching Horror movies.

She was the mother of Donald E. Andrews Jr. and his wife Tanya of Coventry. She was the grandmother of Dana Thomas Andrews, Taylor Renee Andrews, Keisha Brown, Leveland Brown Jr., and Amanda Garcia. Linda was the great-grandmother of Aidan Thomas Andrews. Linda was the sister of Barbara Struthers and the late Harry Voorhis, Stephen Voorhis, and Cheryl Santos.

At Linda’s request, her funeral and interment at the Rhode Island Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Exeter will be private.  Donations to the Wounded Warrior Project ( www.woundedwarrior.org) would be appreciated. Arrangements are with the IANNOTTI Funeral Home, 415 Washington St. (Rte.117) Coventry.
