LINDA I. (SILVA) NELSON

NELSON, Linda I. (Silva), 95, of East Main St., passed away on Thursday, August 30, 2018 at Sunny View Nursing Home. 

Born October 30, 1922 in West Warwick, she was a daughter of the late Joseph and Rose (Pacheco) Silva.

Linda worked at Bradford Soap in West Warwick for 29 years, retiring as a Lead Lady.

She is survived by a daughter, Rosemarie Moxley of Cantonment, FL; a son, Richard Silva and his wife Gloria of East Greenwich; a sister, Agnes Brouillard of Coventry; 10 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.  She was predeceased by her son Valentino Silva as well as her siblings Joseph Silva, Rose Quintavalho and Mary D’Ambra.

A graveside service will be held Tuesday, September 4, 2018 at 11:00 am in St. Mary’s Cemetery, West Warwick.  Visiting hours and flowers respectfully omitted.  In lieu of flowers, donations to the Hope Hospice & Palliative Care of RI, 1085 North Main St., Providence, RI 02904 would be appreciated.  Arrangements in care of the IANNOTTI Funeral Home, Coventry.
