LINDA M. (FERRANTI) SOUZA

SOUZA, Linda M., 71, of  Coventry, passed away at peace and with God on Friday, May 3, 2019 at Kent Hospital.  She was born in Providence to Thomas D. and Marjorie (Vaughn) Ferranti and was the wife of the late Alfred Souza, Jr.  

While Linda worked as an administrative assistant, church secretary, and sales representative, the tenure of her life was spent volunteering, serving others, and performing charitable works for countless people in the name of her faith and paramount connection to God.  Her unique spirituality afforded anyone who knew her to be impacted in a memorable way.  She lived her life as a servant of God and brought immeasurable support, solace, healing and peace to countless friends, family, and strangers alike through this amazing gift.  Her divine, undeniable message will continue forth for all days to come.   

Surviving are her loving son Alfred Souza III and his wife Meg, her siblings Thomas Ferranti, Sandra Korn, Deborah Bell and Rebecca Ferranti and her dear grandchildren Ivey and London.  

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, May 11, 2019 at 10:00 am at St. Robert Bellarmine Church, Johnston. Interment will follow at Highland Memorial Park, Johnston.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made in Linda’s name to the Coventry Senior Citizens Center, 1372 Main Street, Coventry, RI 02816.  iannottifh.com
