MARCELLE P. "Terry" (Gillet) PELTIER

PELTIER, Marcelle P. “Terry”, 80, of Holmes Rd., passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her loving family on Saturday, May 5, 2018.  She was the beloved wife of the late Maurice E. Peltier, Sr.

Born in Bronx, NY, she was a daughter of the late Louis and Virginia (Waiguernary) Gillet.

Marcelle was very involved in the medical community, with a passion for helping others. After retirement, she enjoyed spending time with her beloved family, devoted knitting friends - the “Knit-wits”, and visiting family in Florida. She also loved ice cream dates with her granddaughters, chocolate with extra cherries. 

She was the loving mother of Cheryl (and Paul) Langlois of Coventry, Carolyn (and Steve) Hunt of West Warwick, Maurice (and Sharon) Peltier Jr. of Howey in the Hills, FL and Joyce Williams (late husband Thomas) of Warwick; grandmother of Joseph  and Victoria Boisclair and Casey and Callie Williams; great-grandmother of Cheyanne; sister of Valerie Surgrue of Coventry and step-sister of Cindy Zanfardino, Michelle Milton and Louis Gillet Jr., all of New York and the late Robert Spano.

Her Funeral will be held Wednesday at 9:00 am from the IANNOTTI Funeral Home, 415 Washington St. (Rte.117), Coventry, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 am in SS. John & Paul Church, Coventry.  Burial will be private for the family.  Visiting hours Tuesday 4-7 pm.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to the American Cancer Society, 30 Speen St., Framingham, MA 01701 would be appreciated.
