MARK J. GOLEC

GOLEC, MARK J., a Warwick elementary school music teacher, passed away at RI
Hospital surrounded by his loving family on Sunday, February 24, 2019.  He
was the husband of Collen C. Duffy-Golec for 31 years. He was the loving
father of Katie and Libby Golec. Born in Putnam, Connecticut, he was the son
of the late Joseph and Helen (Tyburski) Golec. 

Mark had a great passion for teaching music. He was an accomplished piano
and keyboard player. Mark played in several well-known Rhode Island bands.
Mark also enjoyed golfing, reading; especially Stephen King novels, bike
riding, taking on projects and he was an animal lover.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be Saturday, March 2, 2019 at 10 am in Our
Lady of Czenstochowa Church, 445 Washington St. (Rte.117) Coventry, RI.
Interment in SS Peter & Paul Cemetery, Coventry. Visiting hours and flowers
are respectfully omitted. Arrangements by Iannotti Funeral Home.
