MARK RICHARDS

RICHARDS, Mark, 69, of Colvintown Rd., passed away on Tuesday, March 5, 2019 at Woodpecker Hill Nursing Home.  He was the beloved husband of Deborah A. (Adams) Richards.

Born in Providence, he was a son of the late Edward and Irene (Pichette) Richards.

Mark was a United States Marine Corps veteran serving during Vietnam. He was a carpenter by trade all his life and really enjoyed woodworking, golfing and playing horseshoes.  He was a member of the Coventry/West Greenwich Elks Club.

Besides his wife, he is survived by six siblings, Edward Richards of Johnston, Marie Wheeler of Coventry, Alice Conneally of Coventry, Margaret Swagger of CT, Lillian Gorden of MA and Christopher Richards of Johnston and many nieces and nephews.  He was the brother of the late Roger and Philip Richards.

His Funeral will be held Monday, March 11, 2019 at 8:00 am from the IANNOTTI Funeral Home, 415 Washington St. (Rte.117), Coventry, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 9:00 am in SS. John & Paul Church, Coventry.  Interment with Military Honors will follow in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston.  Visiting hours Sunday 1:00 – 4:00 pm.
